What to Expect

Starting a substance use program can feel intimidating. Here is exactly what your journey looks like at Serenity Atlas Counseling:

Step 1 — Schedule Your Assessment Call us at (253) 922-6522 to schedule your initial substance use assessment. We will gather background information and determine which program level best fits your situation and any court requirements.

Step 2 — Complete Your Intake You will complete intake paperwork and meet with a licensed counselor to review your program requirements, treatment goals, and expectations going forward.

Step 3 — Begin Your Program Based on your assessment you will be placed in the appropriate program — whether that is outpatient, IOP, deferred prosecution, or another level of care. All programs are structured, supportive, and built around your recovery.

Step 4 — Attend Consistently Attendance and participation are tracked and reported to the court when required. Consistent engagement is essential to your progress and your documentation.

Step 5 — Complete and Receive Documentation Upon successful completion you will receive official documentation for your attorney, probation officer, or the court confirming your program completion.

ADIS & Early Intervention

Not everyone who seeks support is in crisis. Our early intervention and education programs are designed for individuals who want to address substance use concerns before they become more serious.

Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) An 8-hour educational program held every third Saturday of the month. Registration is required. This class is often court-ordered following a first offense and is designed to provide foundational education about substance use and its impact.

Victim Impact Panel Also held every third Saturday. This program provides participants with powerful firsthand perspectives on the impact of substance use related offenses. Registration required.

Early Intervention Designed for individuals who are not yet in crisis but want support and tools before patterns become more serious. Ideal for first-time offenders or those seeking proactive help.
