Serenity Atlas Counseling has been a cornerstone of Pierce County since 1984. As the third generation of owners to carry this legacy forward, we are honored to continue a tradition of compassionate, structured, and evidence-based care for individuals and families navigating some of life's most difficult moments.
For over 40 years, this program has stood on two unwavering values: accountability and empowerment. That foundation has never changed.
Mission
We believe every client already carries the answers within them. Our role is not to hand you solutions — it is to walk alongside you, illuminate your strengths, and give you the tools to navigate your own path forward.
Using CBT, motivational interviewing, client-centered care, and spiritual modalities, we meet each person where they are and help them discover what they are already capable of.
MEET THE TEAM
Enjouli Steward — Clinical Supervisor & Co-Owner
Enjouli Steward brings deep expertise, genuine compassion, and a holistic vision to everything she does at Serenity Atlas Counseling. Designated as a Supervisor by DSHS in the Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment Program, she holds an AA in Human Services from Tacoma Community College and a Bachelor of Social Science from Evergreen State College.
With six years of experience as a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional and certification as a Reiki practitioner, Enjouli bridges traditional and alternative approaches to healing. She is trained in client-centered counseling, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy — and brings over 3,000 hours of dedicated service to this field.
Her expertise extends beyond clinical training into spiritual empowerment, meditation, and self-care practices — reflecting her belief that true healing encompasses the whole person, not just the presenting problem. She holds certificates in domestic violence intervention and victim advocacy, and maintains 20 hours of continued training annually as mandated by Washington State.

Erica Allen — Administrator & Co-Owner
Erica Allen is the operational backbone of Serenity Atlas Counseling. She manages the daily functions of the practice with precision, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to confidentiality and excellence. From scheduling and documentation to communication and compliance, Erica ensures that every client and staff member is supported with care and professionalism.
Her organizational leadership and attention to detail keep the practice running smoothly — so that the clinical team can focus on what matters most: the people we serve.
